BPTOF Detectors

The BPTOF is Photonis’ flagship Bipolar TOF Detection platform. These optically coupled detectors provide unmatched performance and operational lifetime, while providing cost savings to the customer. Photonis’ BPTOF detectors enhance detection efficiency of both positive and negative high mass ions. Each BPTOF detector is equipped with an extended dynamic range Microchannel Plate (MCP) to further enhance detection sensitivity and optimize data analysis. All BPTOF detectors are designed to maximize mass resolution while conforming to a variety of unique configurations.
