Photonis is officially elected as board member of GICAT, the group of French defence, land and air-land defence industries. Chief Executive Officer of Photonis, Jérôme Cerisier will take place in the board on behalf of Photonis.

Photonis has been awarded a multi-year contract for the delivery of up to 5,000 state-of-the-art image intensifier tubes for night vision monoculars. Photonis will provide the Spanish Armed Forces with high performance 4G image intensifier tubes for usage in the AN/PVS-14 monocular, that will be provided by the Spanish original equipment manufacturer Night Vision Lasers Spain (NVLS).

Expovorm International won two prizes during the World Exhibition Stand Awards Thursday 16 May. An international award that acknowledges excellence in the design of exhibition stands. Expovorm won the bronze prize in the category ‘Best Modular Stand’ with the design of the stand commissioned by Photonis Technologies and won a silver prize with the same design in the category ‘Best Reusable Stand’.

Photonis announced today that it has been awarded an IDIQ contract for up to 10,000 night vision bi-oculars to provide state-of-the-art image intensifier tubes as part of a contract awarded by the French Armament General Directorate (DGA – Direction Générale de l’Armement) to the benefit of the French Armed Forces. Photonis will manufacture the 4G high FOM (undisclosed) image intensifier tubes for usage in the Thales new bi-ocular to increase maneuverability and operations at night of the French Armed Forces.

Bordeaux, France 12.04.2019 Photonis Technologies and SYT Technologies announced a business partnership during the SOFINS exhibition in Bordeaux last week. The two companies are combining their skills and products to enable the SYT SR750 long range observation system to detect, recognize and identify both during day and night. During SOFINS Photonis and SYT Technologies showcased their joint project for the first time to the military audience.

Bordeaux, France 12.03.2019, Photonis has been awarded a contract to provide the German Army 1,700 night vision binoculars with state-of-the-art image intensifier tubes. The Photonis’ 4G high FOM image intensifier tubes will be integrated in the Theon Sensors new NYX binoculars, to increase night driving maneuverability of the German Army.
